3 Subscription & payment
Pricing
Services are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Current plan pricing is listed at netlaunch.co.nz. There is no setup fee — your first payment is your first month's subscription.
Billing
Payments are processed automatically each month via Stripe using the card details you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain current and valid.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to retry. If payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend your website until the account is brought up to date.
Domain registration
Domain registration is included within your monthly subscription at no additional charge. However, if a subscription is cancelled within the first 90 days of commencement, NetLaunch reserves the right to recover the cost of domain registration from the client prior to releasing the domain. Once any such cost has been settled, the domain name will be transferred to the client in full, with no further obligation.
4 Cancellation
You may cancel your NetLaunch subscription at any time. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees.
To cancel, simply notify us by email at hello@netlaunch.co.nz. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will be made.
What happens when you cancel
Upon cancellation:
- Your website will be taken offline at the end of the billing period
- We will provide you with the website files (HTML/CSS/JS) so you can host them elsewhere if you choose
- Domain names registered on your behalf can be transferred to you — we will assist with this process at no additional charge
- Business email addresses set up under your plan will need to be migrated or closed — we will advise you on this
We do not offer refunds for partial months already paid.
5 Hosting & domains
NetLaunch retains technical control of your website's hosting and domain registration on your behalf as part of the service. This means:
- Your website is hosted on NetLaunch's Netlify account during the subscription
- Domain names are registered under NetLaunch's account at 1st Domains, managed on your behalf
- You are the beneficial owner of your domain name and have the right to transfer it at any time
While your subscription is active, we take full responsibility for keeping your website hosted, secured, and accessible. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers (Netlify) or domain registrars (1st Domains), though we will work to resolve any such issues promptly.
6 Your responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your business and any content required for your website
- Ensure that any content, images, or materials you supply do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Notify us promptly of any required updates or changes to your website
- Keep your payment details current via Stripe
- Use your website and any associated email address for lawful purposes only
You are responsible for the accuracy of all business information published on your website.
7 Intellectual property
Your content
Any content you supply (text, images, logos, photos) remains your property. By providing it to us, you grant NetLaunch a licence to use it solely for the purpose of building and maintaining your website.
Our work
The design and code of your website is created by NetLaunch. Upon cancellation and settlement of any outstanding amounts, full ownership of the website files transfers to you.
While your subscription is active, NetLaunch retains the right to display your website in our portfolio as sample work, unless you request otherwise in writing.
8 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, NetLaunch's liability to you in connection with any services provided is limited to the total amount paid by you to NetLaunch in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
NetLaunch is not liable for:
- Loss of revenue or profit arising from website downtime
- Loss or corruption of data
- Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages of any kind
- Third-party service outages (Netlify, Stripe, 1st Domains, Zoho, Google)
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, as required by law.

NetLaunch reserves the right to terminate or suspend services immediately if:
- Payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days after the due date
- You use the service or website for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- You publish content that is defamatory, infringing, or otherwise in breach of applicable law
- You materially breach any of these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice
In the event of termination by NetLaunch due to your breach, no refund will be issued for any prepaid period.
10 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted at netlaunch.co.nz/legal with a revised date. For material changes, active clients will be notified by email with at least 14 days' notice before the changes take effect.
Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
